My sister gets them, she usually chooses her own if she gets money for her birthday etc. but will choose a charm that reminds her of the person who gave her the money to make it more special. Her bracelet is actually sitting in front of the computer right now, she has a turtle, a dog, a shell, an angel, a car, a coffee cup and a ghost. Mum got her the car when she got her licence. I gave her the turtle because I have turtles. The ghost is on there cause there is a ghost in our house.
